Only "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun". Life starts in the afternoon through the night. Otherwise you may get sun stroke. That is why you don't see a lot of people in the morning or until afternoon prayer. Heat. They are into air conditioning. Come out late in the afternoon. Most people stay indoors, home or the office. They also have a limited number of refugees and undocumented people: the woman on the side. What she does not know is that she can still get a monthly stipend from non governmental agencies. Even undocumented. Like most of us, sometimes fear of the unknown gets in the way. I feel for her, someone local needs to show her the agencies in place to help. Most are actually empty and looking for someone to help. I am not Saudi, but in Arabia families help family. So there are no homeless. There are poor people of course, but a basic living income is there. It is a point of pride not to leave anyone hungry or wanting. Also a big part of Islam. They just need to export that more than they do to the outside (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, and all refugee areas). To be honest though, charity must be kept secret or it is not charity, it becomes showing off. I do believe they do a great deal, but like all of us they also can do more !! Much respect to the people of the Arab Peninsula.
Love and peace from Iran to Saudi Arabia.??❤??
Hey ! That’s me at 12:35, thanks for filming it ?
The country is empty. Why?
I advise anyone who wants to visit Saudi Arabia to know one of the locals before you come here..because tourism is new here in the country and you wouldn’t know the places unless one of the locals show you

They had plenty of oil money to spend to build these places, but not enough people to populate it or make these businesses profitable.

For an American you should feel reasonably at home there considering there are so many US food and coffee franchises everywhere. The only things that would prevent myself from ever wanting to travel there are no alcohol and the threat of being arrested for something you wouldn’t think twice about in the west. You could get arrested for something you think is trivial like kissing or touching someone. Am I being overly worried or is it somewhere you really need to research and know what is permitted or not? Can you really ever feel totally relaxed and comfortable there or would you be constantly checking yourself? Dubai is the safer bet for most western tourists where it is generally a more relaxed and tourist friendly place.
The videos are fascinating. But as a single woman it would not be possible or wise to travel in many countries alone
للأسف ينقصنا في السعودية المرشدين السياحيين وما فيه اهتمام بالمنطقة الجنوبية من ناحية السياحة والمسكين ما يدري وين يروح راح اليوم كله وهو يفر بالسيارة
1 of my favorite things about the Middle East is that you can always stop on the side of the road and there someone there thats selling corn ? and tea and fruits, vegetables and things like that. Its fresh as well. You cant forget anything when your shopping lol, cause if you forgot something like vegetables you will be reminded by the person on the side of the road selling it. ?
Yemen has the best honey in the world. #fact
