Your videos are superb but why u donot show posh areas of any country? I've noticed that u only show poverty, slums & countryside of every city u visit. After visiting the instagram page of that bakery woman i researched more about somaliland & found that there is so much more funside of the city which u didnt covered.

One of the reasons for the random person in the desert has to do with the nomadic culture. It’s still widely practiced in Somalia to live in the desert migrating every few weeks to a new location. This really hones those people’s abilities to determine directions.

Something I've always wondered is, why is the Italian influence on Somalia such as language, culture etc so little compared to African nations that where let's say under the British or the Frenc. Is it because the Italians weren't there long enough, or is it because they didn't really try to "colonise" it?
